WBCA Recognizes 10 Big Ten Teams for Academic Achievement

ROSEMONT, Ill. – The Big Ten Conference had ten women’s basketball programs honored by the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) on Tuesday for their performance in the classroom, as the organization announced its 2024-25 WBCA Division I Academic Top 25 Team Honor Roll.
Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Minnesota, Michigan State, Nebraska, Northwestern, Ohio State, Oregon and USC earned the distinction after carrying combined grade point averages of 3.0 or higher during the 2024-25 season.
The WBCA Academic Top 25 Team Honor Rolls recognize NCAA Division I, II and III, NAIA and two-year college GPAs inclusive of all student-athletes on their rosters for the entire season. The 2024-25 season is the 30th in which the WBCA has compiled the honor rolls.
