Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota and Ohio State Capture Weekly Gymnastics Awards

Wolverines' Brooks, Spartans' Kellerman and Tucker, Golden Gophers' Lyden and Buckeyes' Harris and Hodges earn honors

Co-Gymnast of the Week

Sierra Brooks, Michigan

Gr. – Plainfield, Ill. – Oswego East – Masters: Business Analytics

  • Won her second straight and third overall all-around title against No. 13 Michigan State with a score of 39.575

  • Captured her second straight bar title with a score of 9.950

  • Has earned 9.925 or higher on floor in four meets with a 9.950 against Michigan State

  • Ranks 11th in the all-around, 6th on the floor and 17th on the beam nationally

  • Collects her seventh career Gymnast of the Week honor

Payton Harris, Ohio State

So. – Franklin, Wis. – Franklin – Major: Radiologic Sciences & Therapy

  • Won the all-around title in a pair of conference meets against Illinois and Maryland

  • Scored her second highest mark of 39.525 against Illinois

  • Recorded three 9.900s, on bars, beam and floor

  • Collects her third Gymnast of the Week honor this season

Co-Event Specialist of the Week

Sage Kellerman, Michigan State

So. – Croswell, Mich. – Croswell-Lexington – Major: Special Education – Learning Disabilities

  • Scored her second perfect 10.0 of the season on vault, becoming the only Spartan gymnast to score multiple 10.000s on the same event

  • Earned a season high 9.900 on bars to tie for third

  • Helped Michigan State to score 49.575 on vault, tying a program record

  • The Spartans’ win at Michigan was the first victory in Ann Arbor since 1990

  • Earns her second Event Specialist of the Week award this season

Co-Event Specialist of the Week

Ella Hodges, Ohio State

Gr. – Winchester, Mass. – Winchester – Masters: Accounting

  • Won both the beam and floor titles in the Buckeyes’ win against Illinois with 9.925s

  • Added a career high tying 9.950 on floor in the win against Maryland

  • Scored a 9.875 on beam

  • Leads the Big Ten on floor with a 9.940 average this season

  • Collects her third career Event Specialist of the Week honor

Jordyn Lyden, Minnesota

Fr. – Stillwater, Minn. – Stillwater Area – Major: Undeclared

  • Posted a career-best performance and first career event title with a 9.975 on bars

  • Helped Minnesota move to 7-0 with a season high score of 197.525 against Penn State

  • Earns her second career  Freshman of the Week award

  • Competed in three events against Michigan, earning three career highs

  • Scored a 9.925 on vault for third, earned a 9.900 on beam, and added a 9.900 on floor

  • Helped the Spartan’s tie program records on vault (49.575) and beam (49.600)

  • Earns her first career Freshman of the Week award
