Iowa Sweeps Final Weekly Women’s Indoor Track and Field Awards
Hawkeyes' Nave and Ulvenstam take home weekly honors
ROSEMONT, Ill. – The Big Ten Conference has announced its Women’s Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week for the week of Feb. 18th –25th, 2026.
Track Athlete of the Week
Dymonde Nave, Iowa
Junior – Sprints – Sioux Falls, South Dakota – Major: Educational Studies and Human Relations
- Won the 60m hurdles at the Iowa Open in a PR 8.24
- 8.24 is the 7th-fastest time in school history
- Opened the day with a then-PR of 8.34 that tied the school’s 8th-fastest time and advanced her to the finals
- Nave's second Indoor Track Athlete of the Week award this season. Last: Dec. 17, 2025
Field Athlete & Freshman of the Week
Lovisa Ulvenstam, Iowa
RS Junior – Multi-event – Monrovia, Liberia/Jamestown, N.D. – Major: Kinesiology
- Two podium finishes at the Iowa Open
- Won the triple jump at 12.39m
- Placed second at 5.94m in the long jump
- Set a PR and ranked eighth all-time at Iowa in the long jump
- Last Iowa Indoor Field Athlete of the Week award: Daniela Wamokpego (Dec. 18, 2024)
- Last Iowa Indoor Freshman of the Week award: Izzy Zahn (Dec. 17, 2025)
