Big Ten Announces Women’s Indoor Track & Field Watch List
Four 2024 Olympians highlight Watch List
ROSEMONT, lll. – The Big Ten Conference announced its 2024 Women’s Indoor Track and Field on Tuesday, Dec. 10. Preseason honors were bestowed upon 17 student-athletes, eight of whom earned All-Big Ten honors last year.
The list features reigning Big Ten Indoor Field Athlete of the Year Chloe Timberg (Rutgers), Big Ten Outdoor Track Athlete of the Year Savanah Sutherland (Michigan), and Big Ten Outdoor Field Athlete of the Year Rose Yeboah (Illinois).
In addition, the Watch List is highlighted by four athletes who represented their respective countries in the 2024 Paris Olympics: Illinois’ Rose Yeboah (Ghana), Michigan’s Savannah Sutherland (Canada), Sweden’s Axelina Johansson (Sweden), Ohio State’s Leah Bertrand (Trinidad & Tobago).
