• Defeated No. 18 Rayvon Foley of Michigan State by major decision (10-2) to improve to 11-1 on the year and 5-1 over ranked opponents
• Earns his second career Wrestler of the Week award

• Defeated No. 17 Brody Teske of Iowa, leading the Nittany Lions to a 23-14 win over the visiting Hawkeyes on Jan. 27 in front of an NCAA indoor dual meet record-tying 15,998 fans
• Took Teske down for the fourth time in the final seconds, locked up a cradle, and pinned the Hawkeye with just :11 left in the match (6:49)
• Improves to 10-0 on the season with three pins, two tech falls and four majors
• The three-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree earns his first career Wrestler of the Week award
