157 pounds – So. – Doylestown, Pa. – Bethlehem Catholic
- Downed No. 1 Jacori Teemer of Iowa at 157, winning by a 5-2 score, to help the Nittany Lions roll to a 30-8 win over the Hawkeyes in front of a sold out Bryce Jordan Center crowd of 15,998
- Used an escape and a takedown in the second period to open up a 4-0 lead before recording 2:04 in riding time to seal the 5-2 win and help lead Penn State to a dominant win
- Improved to 12-0 on the year with two falls, two techs and three majors

Freshman of the Week
Luke Lilledahl, Penn State
125 pounds – Weldon Springs, Mo. – Wyoming Seminary
- Took on No. 26 Joey Cruz in Penn State's Big Ten dual vs. the Iowa Hawkeyes and dismantled Cruz in a 22-6 technical fall victory (6:43)
- Tallied seven takedowns, including five in a torrid third period, to roll to victory
- Improved to 11-1 on the year with six tech falls
