Matt Ramos, Purdue
125 pounds – Sr. – Lockport, Ill. – Lockport
- Took first place at 125 pounds in the Tiger Style Invite, helping Purdue take second overall
- Won his third career tournament crown with a perfect 4-0 record, steamrolling to a dominant 70-4 final tally and securing four technical falls in four matches
- Landed his fast career tech fall in just 2:35 in the semifinal against SIUE’s Davian Guanajuato before defeating Cal Poly’s Koda Holeman in the first-place match with a tech fall in 5:09 (19-1)

Kannon Webster, Illinois
184 pounds – Toulon, Ill. – Washington Community
- Picked up two bonus point wins in a pair of duals with a tech. fall against Binghamton’s Ivan Garcia, 21-3 (5:00) and a major decision against No. 14 Jesse Vasquez of Arizona State (21-7)
- Took first place in the Journeymen Collegiate Classic tournament with three wins
- Pinned Jaden Pepe of Harvard (1:17), decisioned Alex Nini of Rutgers (4-1) and decisioned Cross Wasiliewski of Penn (8-7) to win the gold
- Earns Illinois’ first Freshman of the Week Award
Max McEnelly, Minnesota
184 pounds – Waconia, Minn. – Waconia
- Captured the 184-pound crown at the Mountaineer Invite, as the redshirt freshman won all three matches by tech fall and beat his opponents by a combined score of 61-14
- Defeated Dalton Battle of Appalachian State in the opening round (3:57; 19-4), Jake Dailey of North Carolina (5:12; 22-5) in the semifinals and Tomas Brooker of Appalachian State (7:00; 20-5) for the title
- He is now undefeated in his 18 matches as a collegiate wrestler dating to last season
- Earns Minnesota’s first Freshman of the Week Award
