Wisconsin Earns Women’s Swimming & Diving Weekly Awards

Swimmer of the Week  
Maggie Wanezek, Wisconsin 
So. – Elm Grove, Wis.   

• Earned two individual event wins in Wisconsin’s win over UCLA, UCSD and Tulane 
• Finished in a time of 51.22 in the 100 back to place first 
• Earned an NCAA cut time in the 200 IM, tying her personal best in 1:56.74 to finish first 
• Swam a 21.89 split to help the 200 free relay to a first-place finish 
• Led off with a 51.18 split to help the 400 medley relay to a first-place finish  
• Last Wisconsin Swimmer of the Week: Hailey Tierney (Nov. 6, 2024) 

Diver of the Week 
Ryane Neal, Wisconsin 
Jr. - Lincoln, Neb. 

• Led the Badgers with an individual event win at the FIU Sprint Invite 
• Won the 3-meter with 267.30 points 
• Finished 10^th on 1-meter with 233.80 points 
• Last Wisconsin Diver of the Week: Ashley Peterson (Nov. 18, 2014) 

Freshman of the Week

• Earned an individual event win in Wisconsin’s win over UCLA, UCSD and Tulane 
• Finished in a time of 1:59.18 in the 200 fly to place first  
• Finished third in a time of 54.36 in the 100 fly 
• Swam a 53.75 split in the butterfly leg to help the 400 medley relay team to a fourth-place finish
