Michigan Wins 2026 Big Ten Women’s Swim and Dive Championships presented by Allstate
Wolverines claim conference-leading 18th Big Ten title
MINNEAPOLIS – Michigan claimed the 2026 Big Ten Women’s Swimming and Diving Championship presented by Allstate on Saturday night at the Jean K. Freeman Aquatic Center in Minneapolis, Minn. It’s a conference-leading 18th Big Ten title for the Wolverines and the program’s first since 2018.
Michigan captured the title with 1,243 points, ahead of Indiana with1,084 points and Ohio State with 1,066 points. Wisconsin finished fourth with 893 points, followed by USC (768), Minnesota (701), UCLA (605.5), Purdue (497), Northwestern (446), Nebraska (433.5), Rutgers (379.5), Iowa (284), Penn State (216) and Illinois (195.5).
Michigan won eight individual events, earned gold in four of the five relays and medaled in five additional events to reach its final point total.
Bella Sims of Michigan was named Swimmer of the Championships and Minnesota’s Vivi Del Angel was selected as the Diver of the Championships.
