Ohio State, Nebraska Claim Weekly Women’s Swimming & Diving Awards

Swimmer of the Week
Amy Fulmer, Ohio State
Gr. – Bellefontaine, Ohio – Bellefontaine – Major: Biology 

• Won the 100 backstroke with an NCAA B cut time of 51.76 

• Placed second in the 200 backstroke (1:54.41) and third in the 50 freestyle (22.30), both are NCAA B standard times  

• A part of the winning 200 freestyle relay (1:27.65 - automatic NCAA qualifying time), 400 medley relay (3:30.38 - automatic NCAA qualifying time), 800 free relay (7:06.72) and the 400 free relay (3:13.80 - automatic NCAA qualifying time) teams.  

• Also on the second-place 200 free relay team that turned in an NCAA provisional time of 1:36.96 

• Last Ohio State Swimmer of the Week: Paige Hall (Nov. 15, 2023)  

Diver of the Week
Abby Baxter, Nebraska
Fr. - Coppell, Texas – Cambridge School of Dallas – Major: Marketing 

• Swept the women’s diving events, posting two NCAA Zone Qualifying scores 

• Won the 3-meter with a career-best 331.65 

• Placed first in the 1-meter with a 296.18 

• Last Nebraska Diver of the Week: Sarah Troyer (Dec. 15, 2021) 

Freshman of the Week

Salzburg, Austria – Sport und musisches Realgymnasium – Major: Business 

• Won the 200 butterfly in Nebraska’s dual victory over Illinois, posting an Arc Pool facility-record time of 1:59.22 

• Earns her first Big Ten Freshman of the Week honor
