Ohio State Wins 2025 Big Ten Women’s Swim and Dive Championships

Buckeyes claim first place for 10th time in program history

COLUMBUS, Ohio – For the fifth time in the past six seasons, Ohio State has won the 2025 Big Ten Women’s Swim and Dive Championships on Saturday night at the McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion in Columbus, Ohio.  

The Buckeyes captured their 10th title in program history with 1313.5 points, followed by Indiana with 1255.5 points. Michigan finished third with 1149.5 points, followed by Wisconsin (849), USC (835), Minnesota (592), UCLA (544), Purdue (529), Northwestern (409), Nebraska (344), Rutgers (310), Penn State (260), Illinois (211) and Iowa (158.5).  

Ohio State medaled in 11 events, including two first-place finishes, four second-place finishes and five third place finishes to reach its final point total.  

Indiana’s Skyler Liu was named Diver of the Championships for the second-straight year after the senior finished first on the 3-meter springboard and on platform.  

Wisconsin’s Phoebe Bacon was named Swimmer of the Championships for the second year in a row after winning three individual events.  

The complete list of individual award recipients, all-conference honorees and Sportsmanship Award selections are listed below. The All-Freshman team is inclusive of the top two freshmen finishers in each event, including relays.
