2023 Big Ten Conference Women’s Soccer Tournament Returns to Lower.com Field

Home of MLS’ Columbus Crew to host tournament semifinals and championship

ROSEMONT, Ill. – For the second consecutive year, the Big Ten Women’s Soccer Tournament semifinals and championship match will be held at Lower.com Field in Columbus, Ohio, the conference announced Tuesday.  

Both semifinals (Nov. 2 at 5 and 7:30 p.m. ET) and the final (Nov. 5 at 2 p.m. ET) will be televised live on Big Ten Network and the FOX Sports app.

This year’s Big Ten Women’s Soccer Tournament quarterfinals are slated for Oct. 29 and will be played on the campus of the higher-seeded school.

Single-session ticket packages for the Big Ten Women’s Soccer Tournament matches played at Lower.com Field are now available through Ticketmaster (semifinals and final) and the Columbus Crew Ticket Office (614-447-2739). Please email ticketoffice@columbuscrew.com to purchase group, student, and military tickets. 

A soccer-specific facility, Lower.com Field opened in 2021 and serves as the home pitch of the two-time Major League Soccer (MLS) Cup champion Columbus Crew. The stadium has also played host to a pair of U.S. Men’s National Team World Cup Qualifiers and a U.S. women’s National Team friendly since its debut and will host the 2024 MLS All-Star Game.

This will mark the fifth time since the debut of Big Ten women’s soccer in 1994 that the conference tournament will be played off campus. Last year, both semifinals and the final were played at Lower.com Field, with Penn State scoring a 3-2 victory over Michigan State in the championship.
