Ohio State, UCLA and Rutgers Earn Women’s Soccer Weekly Awards

Buckeyes’ Dudukovich, Bruins’ McMahon and Scarlet Knights’ Bodmer and Gil receive weekly recognition

Offensive Player of the Week 
Kailyn Dudukovich, Ohio State  
Sr. – F – West Chester, Ohio - Major: Actuarial Science 

  • Scored three goals on the week while leading the Buckeyes to a 2-2 draw with No. 1 Michigan State and a 2-1 road victory at Michigan  

  • Scored both goals in the game against the Spartans, netting the equalizer in the 61st minute  

  • Recorded her nation-leading sixth game-winning goal with a shot in the 86th minute to top Michigan, 2-1 

  • Has 11 goals on the season, which is second-most in the conference and third nationally  

  • Sits second in program history with 36 career goals, just four shy of the school record

Defensive Player of the Week  
Quincy McMahon, UCLA 
Sr. – D – Carmel. Ind. – Major: Cognitive Science 

  • Recorded one goal and one assist to help lead UCLA to a 3-1 victory over Minnesota on Sept. 29 

  • Assisted on the game’s first goal in the 34th minute and then scored an insurance goal of her own in the 81st minute for her first goal of the season 

  • McMahon and the Bruin defense shut out Wisconsin on Thursday, not allowing a shot on goal and two shots total 

  • Held the nation’s leading goal scorer to zero shots on goal and three shots total  

  • McMahon, one of just three Bruin players who has started in every game, has helped lead UCLA to nine shutouts in 13 games and a 0.38 goals against average that ranks seventh-best in the nation.

Goalkeeper of the Week  
Olivia Bodmer, Rutgers  
RS-So.  – GK – Monroe, N.J. – Major: Criminal Justice  

  • Made four saves in a 1-0 shutout at Michigan to record Rutgers’ seventh consecutive clean sheet victory  

  • Made three saves in a 1-1 draw at No. 1 Michigan State  

  • Ranks fourth in the NCAA and first in the Big Ten with a 0.27 goals-against average and seventh in the country and first in the Big Ten with a .906 save percentage  

  • Last Rutgers Goalkeeper of the Week: Meagan McClelland (Oct. 26, 2021) 

 

 

Freshman of the Week 
Gabriela Gil, Rutgers  
MF – Westfield, N.J. - Major: Undeclared 

  • Played all 180 minutes last week in a 1-0 win at Michigan and a 1-1 draw at No. 1 Michigan State 

  • Converted a penalty kick in the 86th minute to equalize and eventually earn a 1-1 draw on the road at Michigan State, helping Rutgers match its best result playing the nation's No. 1 team 

  • Helped the Scarlet Knights’ defense maintain its 0.27 goals-against average, which ranked third in the NCAA and first in the Big Ten 

  • Gil and the Rutgers’ defense have held opponents to four or less shots on target in all 11 matches so far this season
