Goalkeeper of the Week
Nyamma Nelson, Northwestern

• Posted a pair of clean sheets in her first two collegiate appearances
• Collected three saves in Northwestern’s 2-0 win at Loyola Chicago to become the first rookie goalkeeper in program history to record a shutout in a season opener
• Tallied a career-high seven saves in a 1-0 triumph versus Illinois State
• Helped the Wildcats to their first two-game season-opening shutout streak since 2023

Freshman of the Week
Liana Tarasco, Iowa
MF/F – Montreal, Canada
• Recorded her first collegiate goal just seven minutes into Iowa’s match against No. 6 Arkansas
• Earned a penalty kick after a handball and went on to score off a deflection
• Contributed to the Hawkeyes’ 3-2 win, which marked the first regular season home loss for the Razorbacks since 2021
