Buckeyes' Perry and Nittany Lions’ Cox collect weekly awards
Player of the Week

- Went 2-0 in singles and 1-0 in doubles (and led 5-1 in an unfinished doubles match) in the Buckeyes’ 5-2 wins over No. 8 NC State and Penn State last week
- Against the Wolfpack, Perry and Audrey Spencer shut out No. 16-ranked Anna Zyryanova and Jasmine Conway in doubles on court two, 6-0
- In singles, Perry defeated No. 36-ranked Mia Slama on court one, 6-2, 7-6 (5) for a 3-1 Ohio State lead
- In the Big Ten opener on the road, Perry and Spencer led Olivia Dorner and Maelie Monfils on court one, 5-1, when doubles was clinched
- In singles, Perry dropped just one game in each set on court one vs. Monfils for a 6-1, 6-1 win and a 2-0 Ohio State

- Earns Penn State’s first Freshman of the Week honor
