Ohio State and Nebraska Earn Women’s Tennis Weekly Awards

Player of the Week 
Luciana Perry, Ohio State

• Went 2-0 in singles and 3-0 in doubles as Ohio State went 3-0 in road matches last week at Michigan (4-1), Nebraska (4-0) and Iowa (4-0) 
• In singles, Perry topped Michigan’s No. 22 Lily Jones 6-2, 7-5 on court two and No. 52 Mia Mack of Iowa, 6-4, 6-1  
• At No. 50 Nebraska, Perry led Maria Taranova on court one, 7-5, 3-6, 5-0 when the Buckeye win was clinched  
• In doubles, Perry and Flora Johnson won 6-2 on court one vs. Michigan’s Miller/Rahnel, 6-2 on court two at Nebraska against Coe/Trigosso and 7-6 (3) against No. 49 Hayashida/Mack on court one at Iowa to clinch the doubles point

• Clinched No. 50 Nebraska’s 4-2 win over No. 46 Penn State on Sunday, defeating Olivia Dorner, 5-7, 6-2, 6-1 to earn her ninth singles victory of the spring  
• Along with doubles partner Conley Raidt, defeated No. 13-ranked doubles pair Oluwadare/Chavez of Ohio State, 6-2. The Husker duo improves to 4-1 on the season at the No. 1 spot  
• Earns Nebraska’s first Freshman of the Week honor
