Player of the Week

• Went 2-0 while leading No. 69 Rutgers to a sweep of Army  

• Defeated Cooper Jackson and Paige Herremans, 6-2, in doubles play to clinch the point with partner Naimo Karki 

• Beat Cooper Jackson, 6-1, 6-1 in singles play to help complete the 4-0 sweep

Kate Fakih, UCLA 
Pasadena, Calif. – Connections Academy – Major: Undeclared 

• Logged 2-0 singles record and a 1-0 doubles mark as the Bruins took down No. 28 Pepperdine before falling at San Diego State 

• Beat Pepperdine’s Sebastianna Scilipoti 6-2, 6-3 on Court 4, extending UCLA’s lead to 3-0 

• Defeated Gloria Alogo of San Diego State 6-4, 6-3 on Court 3 to give Bruins 2-1 lead 

• Fakih is now 7-0 in dual-match singles play 

• Fakih and doubles partner Olivia Center improved to 13-3 (4-0 in dual-match play) against nationally ranked pairs, knocking off No. 39 Anastasiia Grechkina/Alexia Harmon of Pepperdine 6-3 on Court 2; win clinched doubles point for UCLA
