Illinois Earns Big Ten Women’s Tennis Weekly Honor

• Posted a 2-0 weekend for the Fighting Illini at No. 3 singles as Illinois improved to 7-2 on the season 

• Earned back-to-back straight-set victories over the weekend, defeating opponents from Brown (6-0, 6-4) and Marshall (6-4, 7-5) 

• Tied for a team-best four-match win streak, with all five of her dual wins this season coming at No. 3 singles 

• Helped Illinois to No. 24 in this week’s ITA rankings, the program’s highest ranking since the 2019 campaign 

• Earns her first Player of the Week honor
