Michigan Sweeps Women’s Tennis Weekly Awards

Player of the Week 
Reese Miller, Michigan

• Clinched both of Michigan’s wins this past week at No. 24 UCLA (4-1) and No. 16 USC (4-2) 
• Earned a 7-5, 4-6, 6-2 win over Olivia Center of UCLA at No. 6 singles for Michigan’s fourth point of the day 
• Posted a 6-4, 6-4, win over USC’s Maia Sung at No. 6 to put the final point on the board for the Wolverines  
• Last Michigan Player of the Week: Julia Fliegner (March 19, 2025) 

Freshman of the Week 
Emily Sartz-Lunde, Michigan 
Oslo, Norway – Florida Virtual School – Major: Undeclared  

• Went 2-0 at No. 4 singles and 1-0 at No. 2 doubles as Michigan earned wins at No. 24 UCLA (4-1) and No. 16 USC (4-2) 
• Against UCLA, knocked off No. 64-ranked Elise Wagle in straight sets, 6-3, 6-1 
• In Michigan’s win at USC, picked up a win against No. 82 Immi Haddad, 6-2, 7-6 (3) for the Wolverines’ third point of the afternoon 
• Clinched the doubles point with Charney behind a 7-6 (2) win at No. 2 against the Trojans 
• Earns second consecutive Freshman of the Week honor and third of the season
