USC Earns Women’s Tennis Weekly Award

Player of the Week 
Jana Hossam, USC 
Fr. – Alexandria, Egypt – Major: International Relations  

• Competed at the Women of Troy Invite at USC over the weekend and went 4-0 in singles play to claim the singles title during her Trojan debut 
• Hossam was the only player at the tournament to turn in four singles wins. It was the freshman’s first collegiate tournament title of her career 
• Played three tiebreaks over the weekend, winning all three 
• Recorded doubles win alongside partner Parker Fry  
• Hossam is the first USC women’s tennis player to earn Big Ten Player of the Week
