Northwestern and Washington Receive Women’s Tennis Weekly Awards

Player of the Week 
Neena Feldman, Northwestern 
So. – Beaverton, Ore. – Westview – Major: Biomedical Engineering  

• Went 2-0 over the weekend (2-0 singles, 0-0 doubles (two unfinished)) as the Wildcats beat No. 30 Kansas and fell to No. 31 Vanderbilt  

• Delivered the match point in the Wildcats’ 4-3 upset of Kansas on the road Sunday, winning 5-7, 6-3, 6-3 in her singles match to clinch the victory  

• Won in straight sets, 6-2, 6-2, in Northwestern's match against Vanderbilt  

• Completed a perfect 7-0 non-conference season individually, winning all singles matches she appeared in 

• Last Northwestern Player of the Week: Kiley Rabjohns (Oct. 30, 2024) 

Freshman of the Week 
Carina Syrtveit, Washington 
Olso, Norway – WANG Toppidrett Oslo – Major: Pre-Major  

• 3-1 record overall on the weekend at No. 6 singles and No. 3 doubles 

• Clinched the doubles point in both matches, a 4-3 Husky win over San Diego State and a 4-3 win over No. 29 San Diego
