Ohio State Earns Women’s Tennis Weekly Award

Player of the Week 
Nao Nishino, Ohio State  
Fr. – Tokyo, Japan – Major: Psychology  

• Nishino was a combined 6-0 to lead the Buckeyes at the MSU Spartan Invite last weekend 

• Posted three straight set wins in Flight A singles to capture the flight title. Her wins came vs. players from DePaul (6-0, 6-2), Michigan State (6-3, 6-2) and Northwestern (6-2, 6-2) 

• In doubles, she and Dani Schoenly paired up for three wins, downing teams from Butler (6-0), Michigan State (6-3) and DePaul (6-2) 

• This fall, Nishino is 11-3 in singles and 6-5 in doubles
