Michigan Sweeps Women’s Tennis Weekly Awards

Player of the Week 
Reese Miller, Michigan 
So. – Ann Arbor, Mich. – Pioneer – Major: Business Administration 

• Went 3-0 in both singles and doubles at the Michigan Invitational, highlighted by a ranked singles win  

• Earned a singles win over No. 46 Audrey Spencer of Ohio State, rallying from dropping the first set for a 1-6, 7-5, 6-3 win 

• Also recorded wins over Marta Komar (Eastern Michigan), 6-1, 6-2 and Elena Daskalova (Texas Tech), 6-3, 6-3  

• Combined with Julia Fliegner for a 3-0 mark in doubles, earning wins over Eastern Michigan, Ohio State and a pair of Michigan teammates

Freshman of the Week 
Emily Sartz-Lunde, Michigan

• Went 3-0 in both singles and doubles at the Michigan Invitational, picking up singles wins over Alessia Cau (Ohio State), 6-4, 2-6, 7-5; Arina Oreshchenkova (Texas Tech), 6-2, 2-6, 6-2; and Amara Brahmbhatt (Michigan State), 6-3, 6-0 

• Paired with Lily Jones for a 3-0 record in doubles, earning wins over Iva Daneva/Viki Hazmukova (Eastern Michigan), 6-3; Elena Daskalova/Oreshchenkova (Texas Tech), 7-6 (4); and Shelly Bereznyak/Alessia Cau (Ohio State), 6-3
