2024 Big Ten Volleyball Schedule

ROSEMONT, Ill. (June 12, 2024) - The Big Ten Conference announced Wednesday the full volleyball conference schedule, powered by IFS.ai, for all 18 member institutions for the 2024 season.  

Each school will play a 20-match Big Ten schedule, meeting three member institutions both home and away and playing the 14 remaining schools once.  

“The strength and interest in Big Ten Conference women’s volleyball is at an all-time high,” said Grace McNamara, Senior Director, Television Administration. “With the additions of the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), University of Oregon, University of Southern California (USC) and the University of Washington into the conference, 2024 will be the first season with 18 teams which adds to the unprecedented depth of the conference.” 

The Big Ten conference season begins on Wednesday, Sept. 25, with a pair of matches as Wisconsin travels to Minnesota and Penn State visits Purdue. The remaining 14 institutions will begin their conference slate on Thursday, Sept. 26 or Friday, Sept. 27. Matches will be played Wednesday-Sunday, with teams competing twice in Big Ten play each week. 

The Big Ten champion will receive the conference’s automatic qualifier to the 2024 NCAA Tournament that will be played Dec. 5-22, culminating with the national semifinals and championship match on Dec. 19 & 22 at the KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, Ky.
