Big Ten Network Presents On-Site Coverage of 2026 Big Ten Football Media Days Presented by Discover

The Big Ten Network will kick off Season 20 with on-site coverage in Chicago for the 2026 edition of Big Ten Football Media Days Presented by Discover. BTN will present coverage of all 18 schools across the three-day format, from July 28-30, at the Hilton Chicago, including press conferences for every coach, analysis of each team and remarks from Big Ten Commissioner Tony Petitti.

On Tuesday from 11:30 a.m. ET to 2 p.m. ET, Mike Hall and Jake Butt will provide coverage of the first day of press conferences live on B1G Live: B1G Football Media Day Press Conferences.

Rick Pizzo and Butt will anchor the second day of press conference coverage on Wednesday from 12:30 p.m. ET to 2 p.m. ET, before Hall and Butt close out the week with coverage of the final day of press conferences on Thursday from 12:30 p.m. ET to 2 p.m. ET.

Commissioner Petitti will begin Tuesday’s press conferences and will be followed by Bret Bielema (Illinois), Kirk Ferentz (Iowa), Matt Campbell (Penn State), Greg Schiano (Rutgers), Lincoln Riley (USC) and Luke Fickell (Wisconsin).

Press conferences continue Wednesday with addresses from Pat Fitzgerald (Michigan State), P.J. Fleck (Minnesota), Ryan Day (Ohio State), Dan Lanning (Oregon), Barry Odom (Purdue) and Bob Chesney (UCLA).

Coverage of the coaches’ press conferences concludes on Thursday, including remarks from Curt Cignetti (Indiana), Michael Locksley (Maryland), Kyle Whittingham (Michigan), Matt Rhule (Nebraska), David Braun (Northwestern) and Jedd Fisch (Washington).

Four hours of live studio programming takes place each afternoon following the coaches’ remarks with B1G Live: B1G Football Media Day Special from 2 p.m. ET to 6 p.m. ET featuring interviews and analysis from Dave Revsine, Pizzo, Howard Griffith, Gerry DiNardo and Butt. Coaches and student-athletes from all 18 schools are scheduled to join the BTN set across the three-day event to preview the upcoming season.
