Five Big Ten Teams Ranked in the NFHCA Preseason Coaches Poll

ROSEMONT, Ill. – Five Big Ten programs are listed among the nation's top 20 teams in the Preseason Division I Coaches poll released today by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA).

Two-time defending national champion Northwestern tops the poll, having received all 11 first-place votes. Big Ten Tournament finalist Iowa ranks 11th followed by Maryland (13th), Michigan (14th) and Rutgers (17th).
