Iowa, Northwestern and Ohio State Collect Weekly Field Hockey Honors

ROSEMONT, lll. – The Big Ten Conference has announced its Offensive, Defensive and Freshman of the Week Award recipients for matches played Sept. 1-4.
Offensive Player of the Week
Makenna Webster, Ohio State
Sr. – F – St. Louis, Mo. – Shattuck St. Mary’s
Compiled five goals and two assists as Ohio State won both games of the Buckeye Invitational and finished 3-0 on the week
Factored in seven of OSU’s 11 goals, scoring a pair of game-winners
Extended goal-scoring streak to four contests while helping Ohio State (5-0) to its best start since 2006
The two-sport athlete (ice hockey) receives her first Big Ten weekly award

Led Northwestern to a pair of wins against ranked opponents at the ACC/Big Ten Cup in College Park, Md.
Shutout No. 17 Boston College for 70 minutes in Northwestern’s 1-0 overtime win on Sept. 1
Made six saves against No. 20 Duke in a 3-2 victory on Sept. 3, finishing the week with an .846 save percentage (11-for-13)
The Academic All-Big Ten recipient earns her third Big Ten weekly award
