Nine from Big Ten Selected in PLL Draft
Four Big Ten schools represented
ROSEMONT, Ill. – Nine players from the Big Ten Conference were selected at the 2026 Premier Lacrosse League Draft, held April 14 on ESPNU.
Penn State’s Alex Ross was the first Big Ten athlete off the board. He was selected eighth overall in the first round by the New York Atlas.
Four Big Ten programs were represented in the draft as Maryland had a conference-high five players selected followed by Ohio State (2) and both Johns Hopkins (1) and Penn State (1).
The Big Ten will conclude regular season play this weekend, which will be followed by the Big Ten Tournament, starting with the quarterfinal round on Saturday, April 25 at campus sites.
