3 from Big Ten Named to 2026 Teewaaraton Nominees List

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Tewaaraton Foundation has announced the 2026 men’s Nominees for the Tewaaraton Award presented by Stifel, a list that includes three Big Ten student-athletes.

Johns Hopkins' Matt Collison, Maryland's Eric Spanos and Ohio State's Caleb Fyock were listed among the nominees for the Tewaaraton Award, the preeminent lacrosse award, annually honoring the top college lacrosse player in the United States

The selection committees are composed of premier college coaches and are appointed annually by the Tewaaraton Foundation.

Five men’s and five women’s finalists will be selected from these groups, to be announced May 7 at the conclusion of the regular season. They will be honored on May 28 at the Tewaaraton Award Ceremony presented by Stifel at the Andrew W Mellon Auditorium, in Washington D.C.
