Johns Hopkins and Michigan Honored with Lacrosse Awards
ROSEMONT, Ill. – The Big Ten Conference has announced its men’s lacrosse player awards for games played March 23-24.
Offensive Player of the Week
Jacob Angelus, Johns Hopkins
Gr. – A — Chantilly, Va. — Paul VI
Matched a career high for goals and points, factoring in 62 percent of No. 13 Johns Hopkins’ scoring in a 13-8 win over No. 17 Rutgers on Sunday
Compiled three goals and five assists, providing three points during JHU’s 5-1 run in the fourth quarter which put the game out of reach
Extended his multiple-points streak to nine consecutive games
Earns a Big Ten Offensive award for the third straight season, having previously been honored on March 7, 2023 and March 29, 2022

Beau Pederson, Michigan

Helped No. 20 Michigan to a 12-11 come-from-behind win against No. 7 Maryland in the Big Ten opener for both teams Saturday in Ann Arbor
Anchored a defense that held Maryland to five goals in the second half
Forced two turnovers, collected three grounds balls and generated two points (goal, assist) against the Terrapins
The Princeton transfer receives his first Big Ten Defensive award
