Nebraska, Penn State and UCLA Collect Big Ten Softball Weekly Awards

Bruins’ Woolery, Huskers’ Camenzind and Nittany Lions’ Oneacre garner weekly awards

Player of the Week 
Jordan Woolery, UCLA 
Sr. – INF – Walnut Creek, Calif. – Clayton Valley Charter High School 

  • Led UCLA during its 6-0 weekend at the Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic hitting .444 (8-for-18) with 17 RBI, four home runs (two grand slams), two doubles, seven runs, a 1.222 slugging percentage and a .565 on-base percentage 
  • The Bruins defeated three top 25 programs in the 6-0 weekend, with wins against No. 11 Texas A&M (15-7), No. 13 South Carolina (5-4) and No. 20 Duke (10-5) 
  • Woolery opened the weekend with her third, three-hit game of the season against Auburn. Woolery hit a grand slam in a historic 18-run third inning, which is tied for the second-most runs scored in a single inning in NCAA history 
  • Helped UCLA surmount a three-run deficit against Nevada on Friday with an RBI single up the middle in the fifth inning. The Bruins went on to win that game, 6-5 
  • Hit a go-ahead three-run home run against Duke that put UCLA up for the remainder of the game 
  • On Saturday, Woolery reached base in all three of her plate appearances vs. Fresno State 
  • Drew a bases-loaded walk against South Carolina as part of UCLA’s rally from a 4-0 deficit 
  • Hit the go-ahead grand slam against Texas A&M, putting UCLA up for the remainder of the game 
  • Collects second Player of the Week honor of the season

Pitcher of the Week 
Hannah Camenzind, Nebraska 
Sr. – P/UTL – Valley, Neb. – Omaha Skutt Catholic  

  • Helped Nebraska to its first-ever 5-0 weekend at the Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic with three run-rule wins and two wins against ranked opponents: No. 11 Texas A&M (8-2) and No. 13 South Carolina (9-1) 
  • Earned a 2-0 record with two starts in the circle  
  • Did not allow a run in 10.0 innings pitched, including a five-inning no-hitter against Hawaii on Feb. 20 
  • Pitched five shutout innings against Seattle, a game Nebraska won 6-0  
  • Last Nebraska Pitcher of the Week: Jordy Frahm (Bahl) (May 5, 2025) 

 

Freshman of the Week 
Allison Oneacre, Penn State 
INF – Alpharetta, Ga.  – Milton 

  • Led the Penn State offense as the Nittany Lions turned in their first 5-0 weekend tournament showing since 2024 
  • Hit .438 in Penn State’s five games, scoring three runs while adding a team-high 11 RBI and turning in a week-long OPS of 1.358 with a home run and three doubles, adding five walks and zero strikeouts  
  • Helped Penn State to a 6-5 win against No. 25 UCF on the road on Friday  
  • Collects second consecutive Freshman of the Week honor 
  • Last Penn State Freshman of the Week: Allison Oneacre (Feb. 16, 2026)
