Helped Rutgers to a 4-1 opening weekend, hitting .444 with five home runs, going long in four of five games to move into second all-time in Rutgers program history in home runs
Added eight hits, five runs and 10 RBI, boasting a 1.333 slugging percentage in wins over Houston, Colgate and Indiana State
Her three-game streak of home runs marked the second time in her career that she has had at least three consecutive games with home runs
Moved up to fifth all-time in program history with 115 RBI
Earns her first career Player of the Week honor

Bridget Nemeth, Penn State
Fr. – RHP – Glendora, Calif. – Glendora – Major:
Earned a victory as Penn State’s pitcher in four of five games throughout opening weekend, recording a save in the fifth game
Logged a 1.09 ERA in a team-leading 19.1 innings pitched, surrendering just 13 hits and three walks for a WHIP of 0.83, while striking out 14 batters
Helped Penn State top No. 16 Arkansas, appearing in relief in the top of the seventh inning, logging 2.0 innings pitched with three strikeouts, zero walks and zero hits allowed
Penn States’ 5-0 start is just the third 5-0 start in program history and the first instance of 5-0 openings in back-to-back seasons all-time

Hit .412 with three home runs, nine RBI and a 1.000 slugging percentage, as Ohio State won the championship of the Flesberg Invitational at FIU
Had a grand slam and five RBI in a 13-0 five-inning win over Southeast Missouri State
Went 2-for-3 with three RBI and a two-run home run in Sunday’s 7-5 win over FIU. Her home run in the sixth inning would tally the winning runs of the game
Had a .474 on-base percentage for the weekend
