Michigan, Nebraska, Oregon and UCLA Earn Big Ten Softball Weekly Awards

Wolverines’ Conway, Huskers’ Bahl, Ducks’ Ma’ake and Bruins’ Fisher garner weekly recognition

Player of the Week 
Jenissa Conway, Michigan 
So. – OF – Olivehurst, Calif. – Maryville – Major: Sport Management

  • Hit .800 (12-for-15) over Michigan’s four games last week, which included a series win vs. Michigan State and a win vs. Western Michigan 
  • Hit four home runs for a 1.600 slugging percentage and a .824 on-base percentage, totaling eight runs scored and 10 RBI 
  • Hit two home runs in each of Saturday’s doubleheader games and scored the walk-off run in the eighth inning of the nightcap 
  • Last Michigan Player of the Week: Keke Tholl (April 15, 2024) 

 

Pitcher of the Week 
Jordy Bahl, Nebraska 
Jr. – RHP – Papillion, Neb.  – Papillion-La Vista – Major: Child, Youth and Family Studies  

  • Across three appearances and 14.0 innings pitched last week, Bahl allowed zero earned runs and three hits, limiting opponents to a .070 batting average 
  • Earned wins against Omaha and the first game against Purdue while compiling an ERA of 0.00  
  • Struck out 26 batters in her three appearances, including a season-high 13 at Omaha 
  • Earned the save in the second game against Purdue 
  • Bahl has not allowed an earned run in 22.1 innings pitched  
  • Last Nebraska Pitcher of the Week: Jordy Bahl (March 24, 2025) 
     

 

Co-Freshman of the Week 
Stefini Ma’ake, Oregon 
DP – San Diego, Calif.  – Academy of Our Lady Peace – Major: Undeclared

  • In Oregon’s series sweep of Rutgers, Ma’ake hit .667 (6-of-9), drove in 10 runs and hit two home runs with a 1.333 slugging percentage 
  • Hit a three-run home run and had a career-high six RBI in the Ducks’ 20-1 win on Friday 
  • Added another three-run homer and had four RBI in Oregon’s 21-2 win on Saturday 
  • The Ducks tied the school record with 19 hits on Friday and then broke that record with 20 hits in Saturday’s win. It was the first time that has Oregon scored 20 runs in back-to-back games 
  • Last Oregon Freshman of the Week: Rylee McCoy (Feb. 24, 2025) 

 

Co-Freshman of the Week 
Addisen Fisher, UCLA 
RHP – Bend, Ore.  – Bend High School – Major: Undeclared

  • Threw the first no-hitter of her collegiate career on Wednesday at Howard, going 5.0 innings while striking out six and allowing only two base runners (one walk, one fielding error) 
  • Led the team with two wins, two complete games, 11.0 innings pitched, 11 strikeouts and three appearances on the week 
  • In her no-hitter, Fisher did not let a ball leave the infield, recording six strikeouts and nine groundouts 
  • Earned the sweep-clinching win in game three at Maryland, allowing just one run and striking out five over her 5.0-inning complete game, improving her record to 11-0 on the season 
  • Last UCLA Freshman of the Week: Kaniya Bragg (March 3, 2025)
