Oregon, Nebraska and Washington Earn Final Big Ten Softball Weekly Awards

Ducks’ Luschar, Huskers’ Bahl and Huskies’ DeBoer receive weekly recognition

Player of the Week 
Kedre Luschar, Oregon 
Sr. – OF – Carson City, Nev. – Carson High School – Major: Business Administration

  • Luschar drove in nine runs, three in each game, in Oregon’s series win against Michigan State, which helped Oregon to a Big Ten Championship 
  • Her RBI in the sixth inning on Sunday against the Spartans proved to be the difference in the Ducks’ 7-6 win 
  • For the week, Luschar hit .571 (8-for-14) with a double, a triple and 10 RBI  
  • Slugged .786, is on a 10-game hitting streak and has driven in a run in six consecutive games 
  • Last Oregon Player of the Week: Katie Flannery (March 17, 2025) 

 

Pitcher of the Week 
Jordy Bahl, Nebraska 
Jr. – RHP – Papillion, Neb. – Papillion-La Vista – Major: Child, Youth and Family Studies  

  • Went 2-0 on the weekend with a 0.00 ERA. She has not allowed an earned run in her last 18.0 innings pitched 
  • This week, Bahl limited opponents to a .029 batting average, only allowing one ball out of the infield against Maryland, which was a fly out 
  • Bahl allowed one hit in the first game against Maryland, pitching a complete game which included nine strikeouts  
  • Allowed no hits in 4.0 innings of work in game three  
  • Leads the conference in ERA (1.46), strikeouts (234), opponent batting average (.150) and WHIP (0.94) 
  • Last Nebraska Pitcher of the Week: Jordy Bahl (April 14, 2025) 

 

Freshman of the Week 
Alexis DeBoer, Washington 
INF – Sioux Falls, S.D.  – Bellevue – Major: Communication

  • Hit .500 with two home runs, five hits, four runs, two doubles three RBI and two walks 
  • Went 3-for-3 in the series finale to help the Huskies win the series vs. Penn State, tallying a single and two home runs 
  • Hit her 20th home run of the season to move her into eighth for most in a single season in Washington program history 
  • Second freshman in program history to hit 20 home runs (Jenny Topping, 24, 2000) 
  • Last Washington Freshman of the Week: Alexis DeBoer (May 5, 2025)
