Park, Ryu Earn Weekly Women's Golf Honors

ROSEMONT, Ill. – University of Southern California senior Catherine Park has been named the Big Ten Women’s Golfer of the Week, and Rutgers University's Elizabeth Ryu received Freshman of the Week honors, for tournaments from March 19-25.

Catherine Park, USC

Senior – Irvine, California – Crean Lutheran High School - Business Administration

·       Carded a 209 (-7) to finish T2 at the PING/ASU Invitational hosted at Papago Golf Club in Phoenix

·       Paced the 89-player field with 16 birdies over 54 holes

·       Led the Trojans to their fourth consecutive three-round tournament championship for the first time since 2013-14

Freshman of the Week
Elizabeth Ryu, Rutgers

Freshman – Dublin, Ohio – Dublin Jerome High School

·       Finished T5 at the City of Oaks Collegiate hosted at Lonnie Pool Golf Course in Raleigh, North Carolina

·       Signed a 6-over 222 (76-71-75) which included five birdies and 40 pars

·       Helped lead the Scarlet Knights to a runner-up result on the team leaderboard
