USC's Koo, UCLA's Ly Receive Weekly Women's Golf Honors

ROSEMONT, Ill. – University of Southern California sophomore Jasmine Koo has been named the Big Ten Women’s Golfer of the Week, and UCLA's Kacey Ly received Freshman of the Week honors, for tournaments from April 2-8.

Jasmine Koo, USC

Sophomore – Cerritos, California – Cerritos High School - Business Administration

·       Posted a 10-under 206, capped by a final round 65, to win the Chevron Silverado Showdown hosted by Silverado Country Club in Napa, California

·       Became USC's all-time winningest player with the seventh medalist honor of her college career

·       Led the Trojans to a dominant team title, their fifth straight this season, in a field featuring eight Top-50 teams

Kacey Ly, UCLA

Freshman – Temple City, California – Temple City High School – Physiological Sciences

·       Carded a 10-under 206 to earn a career-best third-place result at the Huntington Bank Collegiate hosted at Trinity Forest Golf Club in Dallas

·       Fired a second round 66 on the way to her fourth Top-4 finish of the spring campaign

·       Was the top performer in the 91-player field on both Trinity Forest's Par-3 holes and its Par-5 offerings
