Northwestern's Yun, Iowa's Kristinsdottir Earn Weekly Honors
Wildcats senior, Hawkeyes rookie finish Top-5 at Badger Invitational
ROSEMONT, Ill. – Northwestern senior Ashley Yun has been named the Big Ten Women’s Golfer of the Week, and Iowa’s Eva Kristinsdottir earned Freshman of the Week honors, for tournaments from September 10-16.

Ashley Yun, Northwestern
Senior – West Covina, California - Walnut
- Finished third at the 2026 Badger Invitational hosted at University Ridge Golf Course in Madison, Wisconsin
- Opened with a first round 69 on her way to a 3-under 213 (69-74-70) for the tournament
- Helped lead the Wildcats to a runner-up finish on the team leaderboard in their first event of the season
Freshman of the Week
Eva Kristinsdottir, Iowa
Freshman – Reykjavik, Iceland
- Finished T5 at the 2026 Badger Invitational hosted at University Ridge Golf Course in Madison, Wisconsin
- Fired two rounds under par to card a 216 (69-76-71) and earn the first Top-5 result of her college career
- Led the Hawkeyes to a fourth-place result as a team
