Northwestern's Yun Named Golfer of the Week

ROSEMONT, Ill. – Northwestern freshman Ashley Yun has been named the Big Ten Women’s Golfer of the Week for tournaments played during the week of March 28 – April 3, 2024.

Freshman – West Covina, Calif. – Walnut – Communication Studies

• Finished third (68-73-69=210; -6) at the 2024 PING/ASU Invitational, hosted at Papago Golf Course in Phoenix

• Opened competition with a career-low tying 68, ahead of a final-round 69

• Recognized as the Ann Votik Award winner, honoring the top freshman on the individual leaderboard

• Led the No. 11 Wildcats (284-285-284=853; -11) to a three-stroke win among a field that included seven of the nation's Top-15 teams in the latest Mizuno Women's Golf Coaches Association Poll
