Cox Named Golfer of the Week After First Career Win

ROSEMONT, Ill. – Penn State junior Michelle Cox has been named Big Ten Conference Women’s Golfer of the Week for tournaments played February 7-14.

• Won medalist honors by four strokes at the 2024 Columbia Classic with a 9-under 207, leading Penn State to a runner-up result in the 16-team field

• Fired three straight under-par rounds (69-67-71), including a career-best 67, on her way to the third-lowest 54-hole score in Nittany Lions history

• Recorded her first hole-in-one during the practice round

• 2023 Academic All-Big Ten honoree
