Hollenbaugh, Vinijchaitham Named Big Ten Women’s Golfers of the Week
Buckeyes junior, Ducks freshman, earn recognition after tournament wins

ROSEMONT, Ill. – Ohio State University junior Kary Hollenbaugh and University of Oregon freshman Suvichaya Vinijchaitham have been named the Big Ten Golfers of the Week for tournaments from February 13-19.

Kary Hollenbaugh, Ohio State
Junior – New Albany, Ohio – New Albany – Finance
- Earned medalist honors for the second consecutive year at the Suncoast Spartan Invitational at Palm Aire Country Club in Sarasota, Florida
- Picked up her second straight victory, and third of her colllege career, after also capturing top honors at the Therese Hession Invitational earlier this month
- Fired three straight rounds of 69 to finish 9-under, four strokes clear of the field and has now opened the spring season with six consecutive rounds in the 60’s
- The Buckeyes tied for first place with an overall team score of 860 (-4)
Suvichaya Vinijchaitham, Oregon
Freshman – Khon Kaen, Thailand
- Secured her first collegiate victory at the Alice & John Wallace Classic at Monterey Country Club in Palm Desert, California
- Carded a 12-under 201, the second-best 54-hole score in Ducks history, capped by a final round 64 (-7), to win by two strokes
- Led Oregon to a dominant 23-stroke victory on the team leaderboard in a field where only two teams finished under par
