SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- Michigan State sophomore Katie Lu was the last Big Ten golfer playing in the NCAA Championships Monday as the individual championship was decided at the Grayhawk Golf Club.
Lu finished tied for 41st place with a 72-hole total of 3-over-par 291. Stanford's Rose Zhang captured medalist honors with a 10-under 278, become the first woman to win multiple national titles.
Monday's round closed the Big Ten women's golf season, which began September 10 with Maryland's appearance at the Yale Invitational.
