Ohio State’s Kary Hollenbaugh Named Big Ten Women’s Golfer of the Week
Buckeyes junior claims first honor of spring season after Therese Hession

ROSEMONT, Ill. – Ohio State University junior Kary Hollenbaugh has been named the Big Ten Golfer of the Week for tournaments from January 29 – February 5.

- Won the Therese Hession Regional Challenge at Palos Verdes Golf Club, the second victory of her collegiate career
- Carded a tournament-record and personal best 203 (-10) over 54 holes, winning by four strokes over a field that had six Big Ten golfers in the Top-8
- Fired three consecutive tournament rounds in the 60’s (68-68-67) for the first time in her career
- Her victory earns a sponsor's exemption to play in the ShopRite LPGA Classic this summer
