Michigan State Recognized With Weekly Golf Award
ROSEMONT, Ill. – Michigan State junior Katie Lu has been named Big Ten Conference Women’s Golfer of the Week for tournaments played Sept. 23-26.

- Placed second out of 68 competitors at the Glass City Invitational, held Sept. 25-26 at the Inverness Club in Toledo, Ohio
- Recorded a 4-under-par 212 over 54 holes to help the 27th-ranked Spartans to a third-place showing
- Posted a career-best 6-under 66 on Tuesday, matching the second-lowest round by a Big Ten golfer this season
- Led the field with 14 birdies and finished five strokes below the course average
- Collects her second Big Ten golf award in as many weeks
