Minnesota's McCauley, Nebraska's Strand Earn Golfer of the Week honors

ROSEMONT, Ill. – Minnesota sophomore Isabella McCauley and Nebraska sophomore Kelli Ann Strand have been named Big Ten Conference Women’s Golfers of the Week for tournaments played February 1-6.

So. – Inver Grove Heights, Minn. – Simley – Business & Marketing Education

• Posted three rounds under-par (69-71-70) on her way to a 6-under 210 at the Purdue Puerto Rico Classic

• Was the top Big Ten finisher at the event in a tie for sixth on the leaderboard

• Shot par-or-better on 48-of-54 holes at the Grand Reserve Golf Club in Rio Grande

Kelli Ann Strand, Nebraska

So. – Challis, Idaho – Challis – Accounting

• Opened the spring schedule with a 6-under 210 at the UCF Challenge, which included a second-round 68 (-4)

• Was the top Big Ten finisher at the event which included four conference teams

• Earned her second Top-10 result, and fourth Top-15 finish, through five tournaments this season
