Spartans Surge In Second Round At Bulle Rock
Biermann, Romero, Zheng share lead heading into Sunday's final round

HAVRE de GRACE, Maryland -- Michigan State was the only team under par during the second round of the 2025 Big Ten Women's Golf Championships hosted by Bulle Rock Golf Course, and will take a three-shot lead into Sunday's final round after firing a 7-under 281.
Spartans sophomore Ana Sofia Murcia posted the best round of the tournament so far with birdies on her final four holes en route to a 4-under 68. Senior Brooke Biermann moved atop the individual leaderboard with a near-flawless 69 that featured four birdies and just a single bogey on No. 17. After 36 holes she shares the top spot on the leaderboard with Kiara Romero, whose Oregon Ducks are in second (E), and Victoria Zheng, who has led Illinois into third-place through two rounds. Saturday play wrapped up with 17 student-athletes within three shots of the lead, and 29 within five strokes.
Sunday's final round will begin play at 8:00am ET, with the three leaders together in the final group teeing off at 10:20am ET. Parking and admission at Bulle Rock are free for spectators. Big Ten Network will air live coverage of third round competition from 1-4pm ET.
