Northwestern's Cai Wins Women's Golfer of the Week

ROSEMONT, Ill. – Northwestern senior Jennifer Cai has been named the Big Ten Women’s Golfer of the Week for tournaments played during the week of February 28 – March 7, 2024.

Senior – Irvine, Calif. – Sage Hill School – Psychology

• Carded a 5-under 208 to earn medalist honors at the 2024 Darius Rucker Intercollegiate hosted at Long Cove Club (Hilton Head Island, S.C.)
• Finished the tournament with rounds of 68 and 69 to secure her first collegiate win
• Led all players with 15 birdies, and ranked Top-10 in the field on Par-3, Par-4 and Par-5 holes
• Led the Wildcats to a runner-up team finish in a field that included eight of the Top-12 teams in the nation, and 11 of the Top-20
