Nebraska Receives Weekly Golf Honor

ROSEMONT, Ill. – Sophomore Kelli Ann Strand of Nebraska has been named Big Ten Conference Women’s Golfer of the Week for tournaments played Oct. 6-10.

Shot a 10-under-par 208 to finish second overall (out of 86 competitors) at the Dale McNamara Invitational held Oct. 9-10 in Tulsa, Okla.
Produced rounds of 70-66-70 to finish with a 68.6 average, which was 6.4 strokes below the tournament average
Compiled 33 pars, 14 birdies and an eagle during three rounds at the Golf Club of Oklahoma
Her 208 score was the fourth-lowest 54-hole total in the Big Ten this season
The 2023 All-Big Ten Second Team pick earns her second career Big Ten weekly award
