Big Ten Unveils 2026 Women’s Lacrosse Tournament Bracket

ROSEMONT, Ill. – The Big Ten Conference has announced the full bracket for the 2026 Big Ten Women’s Lacrosse Tournament, presented by Allstate, set to take place April 22-26 at the U-M Lacrosse Stadium on the University of Michigan campus in Ann Arbor, Mich.
Northwestern earned the tournament’s No. 1 seed after clinching its fourth consecutive straight Big Ten title. Along with the top seed, the Wildcats have also earned a first-round bye and will open tournament play on Friday, April 24 with a semifinal contest.
Maryland claimed the No. 2 seed over Johns Hopkins by virtue of a head-to-head victory, while tournament host, Michigan, claimed the No. 4 seed. Penn State’s regular season victory over Rutgers secured the No. 5 seed for the Nittany Lions, with Ohio State claiming the No. 7 seed.
The tournament will open on Wednesday, April 22 with three quarterfinal games, with the winners advancing to Friday’s semifinal round. No. 4 Michigan and No. 5 Penn State will open the tripleheader at 12 p.m. ET, followed by No. 2 Maryland and No. 7 Ohio State at 3 p.m. ET, and No. 3 Johns Hopkins and No. 6 Rutgers at 6 p.m. ET. All three quarterfinal matchups will be broadcast on B1G+.
Wednesday’s quarterfinal winners and Northwestern will advance to Friday’s semifinal round. Semifinal contests are slated to begin at 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. ET on April 24, with the championship scheduled for 12 p.m. ET on Sunday, April 26. All three contests will be broadcast live on BTN and the FOX Sports app.
The winner of this year’s Big Ten Tournament will earn the conference’s automatic berth into the NCAA Championship, with that bracket announced on Sunday, May 3 at 9 p.m. ET, live on ESPNU.
