Athletes Unlimited Women's Lacrosse Selects 7 from Big Ten to Play in 2024

ROSEMONT, Ill. – On Wednesday evening, seven Big Ten student-athletes were drafted in the 2024 Athletes Unlimited Pro Lacrosse College Draft.  

Johns Hopkins goaltender Madison Doucette, Maryland defender Meghan Ball and goaltender Emily Sterling, Michigan defender Maddie Burns, Northwestern attackers Erin Coykendall and Izzy Scane, and Rutgers midfielder Cassidy Spilis were among the 16 collegiate players invited to participate in the league’s fourth season.

These seven ladies will join the 20 former Big Ten women’s lacrosse student-athletes who competed in Athletes Unlimited during the 2023 campaign.

The 2024 Athletes Unlimited season will run from July 18 through August 11, with games played at USA Lacrosse Headquarters in Sparks, Md.
