Eight from Big Ten to Compete for Team USA at World Lacrosse Women's Championship
ROSEMONT, Ill. – Eight Big Ten student-athletes have been named to the final roster of 22 players that will represent the United States in the 2024 World Lacrosse Women’s U20 Championship in Hong Kong, China from August 15-24.
Players from four Big Ten universities were selected following a training camp at USA Lacrosse headquarters from June 19-21.
Northwestern head coach Kelly Amonte Hiller will lead the team, as it looks to earn its sixth gold medal. Amonte Hiller also led the Red, White, and Blue to the world championship in 2019, joining gold medals in 1999, 2003, 2007, 2011, and 2019.
